I have a large airy studio which is very welcoming and full of soft seating, and more importantly heated for your little newborn baby – I keep them very warm during the shoot so don’t worry about them being cold, but I do ask that you bring one of your own warm blankets too.

I’ve been photographying newborn babies for well over 20 years and have accumlated many wonderful and beautiful outfits and props that you can choose form prior to the newborn session (on your arrival).  Most of the images shown on the website galleries are my outfits and you are welcome to use whatever you like on the day.

Not only do I do the natural newborn images on ivory, creams and whites, I also offer a composite selection which can be seen in the ‘Swings & Things’ gallery.  I have 4 galleries to choose from with Classic & Natural being the first, followed by the White Collection, Swings & Things, and Family & Pets.  Just click on the Galleries tab on the top line and the 4 galleries will drop down for you to choose from or click on the links above.

My favourite time to capture your newborn is between 6 and 12 days, during this stage they are still sleeping soundly for those curly sleepy shots we all love to capture. Saying this, I am happy to go to 4 weeks, although after 2 weeks, I find newborns to be much more alert but the photo shoot is still very doable.
