The Paint Splash Photoshoot

When you think of a idea for a Birthday photoshoot, we nearlly all now think of the cake smash particularly for the 1st birthday.  I’ve been doing the cake smash now for 12 years and although it is still a favourite shoot of mine, the Paint Splash is also excellent fun.  This can be used for the first birthdy … but I feel that the Paint Splash is an excellent idea for those looking for photo ideas for the 2nd and 3rd birthdays up.

Very often your toddlers are camera shy at 2 and 3 and/or just won’t sit still for a photoshoot – so the paint splash is great as they all love messy play … so we get some great fun natural shots as they mess about with and in the paint creating loads of mess and colour.  They get to paint a canvas too which you can take home to hang with the photos too if you wish.

As shown below, I use the ivory backdrop for the Paint Splash to keep it light to show off the bright colours – but you can choose another colour if preferred – please ask on booking. The Paint splash can be done for a birthday shoot, or just a fun shoot, and can include siblings – please see below for some images.

Packages start at £199 which includes the photoshoot, paints and canvas, plus prints and a collage / or digital images – please ask for a price list as these prices are not yet shown on our website.  Balloons and pompoms can be included at no extra cost.  If you have any ideas for a theme or colour scheme, please call to discuss.
