Olivia’s Newborn Photo Session at 6 days young

Meet little Olivia, at just 6 days young, she was the perfect little newborn baby girl, sleeping soundly for her curled up shots, and smiling for quite a few shots too.  And her big sister Emilia at 2 joined her for a couple of very supercute pics (see below)

Our newborn photo sessions are very relaxed and our studio is warm and cosy.  We allow plenty of time for feeding, cuddling and soothing between poses. My favourite time to capture your newborn baby is between 6 and 12 days and I class my newborn sessions as up to 4 weeks young.  This is the best time to  capture the oh so beautiful natural, curled up shots before they start becoming more alert and not sleeping so well after feeds.   I offer the natural shots on various blankets … and also love creating the more elaborate newborn image – all of which can be seen on the website –  click here to view image gallery.

If you have not yet had your baby … we would recommend booking your newborn photo session based on your due date. This can be changed if necessary once your little bundle of joy arrives.

I do have a very comfortable newborn studio, however, if you would like me to bring my studio set up to you, I can and just need your postcode to give you a cost for travel and set up.

ALL sessions can include sibling and family shots, and package prices (as shown on our website) include as many props as you like and all editing/retouching required. We discuss in full your requirements at the start of your session. Following your photo session with Shy Violet Photography, a Gallery of images will be online for 3 weeks on our Customer Only GALLERY website where you will be able to view your images in the privacy of your own home, and as many times as you like.
