Summer’s Maternity Dog PhotoShoot

Well I had a wonderful time at Summer’s Matenrity Phototshoot … a heavily pregnant beautiful Rottweiler, Summer.

It’s a first for me – I’ve not been asked to photograph a pregnant doggy before …. so when Summer’s pawrents asked me I was delighted 🙂   Summer was only having the one litter and they wanted to record it.  She was obviously very happy to be pregnant as you will see from the pics below … she seemed to love having her photo taken too … so all in all it was a very successful shoot.

I had no idea what to do with a pregannt doggy, but as with all my dog photoshoots, I do tend to treat them as I do humans and this seemed to work very well.  Summers Pawrents had a 4 image package option and ended up choosing 14 images 🙂

Not only this but they booked a Puppy PhotoShoot at 2 weeks – Pics to follow when done 🙂

I absolutely loved the shoot and would love to photograph more Maternity shoots for dogs but not sure it’s going to be a popular choice (?)  although I think it should be.

For all pregnancy shoots, I offer the very natural maternity photography, plus the more creative side with props, billowing material and chiffon – examples of which are shown in our  image gallery.  We would have a chat about your requirements prior to the shoot in our very informal, warm and relaxing studio.

Following your Maternity photo session with Shy Violet Photography, a Gallery of images will be online for 3 weeks on our Customer Only Gallery website where you will be able to view your images in the privacy of your own home, and as many times as you like.  Or if you wish these images to be more private, we can email the proofs over to you.
