I cannot believe how quickly this year has flown and as a photographer it’s now time to think about Christmas. I am already thinking about personalised gifts, so am offering a free DIGITAL CHRISTMAS THEMED NEWBORN BABY pic with every booking.  You can make your own Baubles, Christmas Cards, cushions, mugs … the list is endless and who doesn’t love a personalised gift.

I have various ideas / backdrops for the Newborn Baby Christmas Photo … some of which are shown below in this blog.

My  favourite time to capture your newborn baby is between 6 and 12 days (or even as young as 4-5 days) – and up to 4 weeks young.

I offer you all the natural, curled up shots on various blankets and offer you too the option of various props, from simple to elaborate. If you have not yet had your baby … we would recommend booking a date around your due date. This can be changed if necessary once your little bundle of joy arrives.

Newborn photography sessions are up to 3 hours allowing for feeding, soothing and cuddles throughout.   We realise how very precious your newborn baby is to you and we take the greatest care during the session, and ensure that the studio is kept lovely and warm.

However, if you would like us to bring our studio to you, we can and just need your postcode to give you a cost for travel and set up.

ALL sessions can include sibling and family shots, and package prices (as shown on our website) include as many props as you like and all editing/retouching required. We discuss in full your requirements at the start of your session.

There are no hidden costs, there is nothing more to pay if you book one of our packages, unless of course you would like additional images – you can request to see these prior to booking.

We offer albums, photo books, canvases, blocks, folios – if you would like more info on any of these, please get in touch.

Following your photo session with Shy Violet Photography, a Gallery of images will be online for 3 weeks on our Customer Only GALLERY website where you will be able to view your images in the privacy of your own home, and as many times as you like.
